vivo Malaysia officially launched its flagship X200 Pro and X200 smartphones yesterday to strengthen its position as one of the big boys in smartphone photography.

The series introduces a groundbreaking 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto lens, developed in collaboration with ZEISS, and as expected, it is reserved exclusively for the X200 Pro to go with the 50MP ZEISS True Color Main Camera and 50MP Ultra Wide-Angle Camera while the base model gets a regular 50MP telephoto lens instead.
For maximum photography experience, the telephoto system offers six specialized capabilities: Telephoto HyperZoom, Telephoto Macro, Telephoto Portrait, Telephoto Nightscapes, and Telephoto Sunset. The series also includes enhanced features like Super Landscape Mode with Atmospheric and Soft Style, 4K HDR Cinematic Portrait Video, and Super Night Mode for low-light photography.
For performance, the series utilizes a Dual Flagship Chip configuration, combining the V3+ Imaging Chip with MediaTek Dimensity 9400 with the former delivering 30% better energy efficiency and enhanced imaging capabilities that have been certified to work seamlessly with the latter where MediaTek’s most powerful smartphone SoC delivers its potential in every other thing.
The devices implement 3rd-Gen Silicon Anode Battery Technology and Semi-Solid Battery technology, with up to 6000mAh capacity and 90W FlashCharge support with the X200 Pro additionally offers 30W Wireless FlashCharge. The display features 2160Hz High-frequency PWM Dimming for reduced eye strain.
Running on Funtouch OS 15, the series includes AI-powered features like AI Note Assist and AI Transcript Assist. It also integrates Google’s Circle to Search functionality. The X200 Pro comes in Titanium and Black, while the X200 is available in Black and Green, both featuring an Equal-Depth Quad Curved Eye Protection Display.
