Well folks, it’s finally here – The NVIDIA App for all your gaming needs as well as the full suite of software and features for your precious GPU.
After quite the lengthy beta testing phase that started early this year, you’ll soon see it popping as one of the choices when you start up an NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver executable that replaces the iconic GeForce Experience.
Thanks to the redesign in both feature support and UI/UX elements, users will be able to enjoy more convenience down the road including optimal playable settings for their favorite games as well as configure various settings related to monitors, flicking the G-SYNC option on or off, tune some of your GPU performances – all of these under a single application.
Yup, the NVIDIA Control Panel is pretty much obsolete now. Emphasizing the “pretty much” because there are still some leftovers to be carried over to the NVIDIA App via future updates so you might still want to keep it around just to be safe.
Oh yeah, Team Green also buffed up the “ShadowPlay” portion of the software by allowing up to 4K120FPS AV1 video capture as well as enabling AI-powered RTX game filters for some additional fun that is independent of game developers, and also the newly improved customizable statistic overlay. If you want some of the non-gaming features, then RTX Video HDR and RTX Video Super Resolution are now natively available inside the app for some video production AI magic.
On the other hand, here are some DLSS news for some of the currently available and coming soon games that you might want to know:
