Kingston has announced they will be joining the latest CUDIMM and CSODIMM RAM battle with its FURY Renegade DDR5 series.
First supported through the new Intel 800 series chipset alongside the Core Ultra 200S processor, the new RAM standard now utilizes Clock Drivers directly baked onto the RAM module that allows higher frequency that is also more stable thanks to the clock signal being redriven leading to enhanced signal integrity.
Available in both RGB-enabled and non-RGB versions, the improved specs now allow a baseline 8400MT/s frequency and can be overclocked to even higher standards while capacities are set as 24GB single and 48GB dual channel kits. Luckily, the new design doesn’t change the physical connector of 288-pin therefore it is Intel XMP and AMD EXPO ready.
However, Kingston recommends any user wanting to jump in the hype train to go through the respective motherboard’s QVL (Qualified Vendor List) or by checking the Kingston Configurator for supported speeds and capacities.
