Kingston has announced they won the 2023 DRAM module makers’ global market share chart, again (the 21st time actually).

Kingston 1st Place DRAM Market Share 2023

Once again claimed the number-one position, Kingston marks 21 consecutive years as the global leader – even with a slight dip in revenue as the DRAM module market took a 28% hit year-over-year.

The TrendForce report revealed that the top ten memory module suppliers owned a huge 93% slice of the global market in 2023, with Kingston maintaining its lion’s share at 68.8%. The sales drop across the industry largely stemmed from an inventory adjustment in consumer electronics following the pandemic, combined with high production rates from DRAM suppliers that pushed prices down.

But the market began bouncing back in the second half of 2023, and Kingston’s strong brand reach and robust market coverage helped soften the blow, securing their top spot even during these challenging times.

This year, Kingston also made moves to grow its product line with its  FURY Renegade Pro DDR5 RDIMM line of products as well as overclockable server-grade memory aimed at creators, engineers, and data pros handling demanding applications. On top of that, their Server Premier DDR5 DIMMs (available in 64GB, 32GB, and 16GB at 4800MT/s) were validated for Intel’s 4th Gen Xeon Scalable Processors. Kingston even gave their FURY Renegade DDR4 lineup a sleek, refreshed look with bold two-toned heat spreaders. Early in 2023, they celebrated a major milestone: shipping over 100 million overclockable memory modules worldwide.
