GIGABYTE has announced the introduction of X3D Turbo Mode through the latest AMD AGESA 1.2.0.2a BIOS update.
Initially announced ahead of the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D’s official release but has now gone global and enabled more motherboard SKUs, this mode enhances gaming performance by optimizing core distribution, bandwidth allocation, and power management, achieving up to an 18% boost in performance. Even non-X3D processors can benefit from these improvements too so if you’re itchy for some “free FPS”, better get this.
