Samsung Malaysia has launched its latest 990 EVO Plus M.2 SSD, boasting PCIe 4.0 support and advanced NAND technology to bring enhanced performance, capacities, and power efficiency.
Equipped with the brand’s cutting-edge 8th generation V-NAND technology and a 5-nanometer controller, the 990 EVO Plus delivers impressive sequential read/write speeds of up to 7,250MB/s and 6,300MB/s respectively. Plus, the SSD houses a nickel-coated heat shield to reduce overheating, further improving power efficiency by 73% over its predecessor.
Furthermore, it comes in a 4TB model with a notable random read/write speed of 1,050K IOPS and 1,400K IOPS respectively to offer near-DRAM-level without using DRAM cache, making it ideal for both gaming and AI tasks.
With Samsung TurboWrite 2.0 technology and Samsung Magician software, users can also seamlessly streamline data migration for SSD upgrades while safeguarding data, monitoring SSD health, and optimizing performance with custom settings.
